U-Konserve is the result of two mothers' struggle to be environmentally conscious as their families grew. As they packed school lunches, they knew the plastic baggies, drink cartons and single-use containers leaving their homes were destined for landfill. With this in mind, they created a waste-free lunch kit, and in 2008 U-Konserve was born. The desire was to have an impact beyond just creating durable, long-lasting products. The goal was to offer reusable and innovative solutions to change behavior and help the planet.

Family-owned neighborhood market specializing in fresh produce, meat, cheese, wine & groceries.
At Beyond Meat, we started with simple questions. Why do you need an animal to create meat? Why can’t you build meat directly from plants? Turns out you can, so we did!
Beyond Meat is on a mission to perfectly build meat from plants in an effort to positively impact human health, the environment, constraints on natural resources and animal welfare. One of the great things about building meat from the ground up is you can keep in the good stuff (protein) and leave out the bad (cholesterol). The result? Uncompromisingly delicious, plant-based burgers and sausages that are packed with protein and better for you and the planet.

On a Friday evening not too long ago, our family ditched our over-sized gas SUV at home, climbed into our Neighborhood Electric Vehicle and cruised down to the beach for another picture perfect sunset. The fresh ocean breeze, we have all come to love, felt refreshing against our faces. The parking was significantly easier than our SUV and we just felt like driving a zero emission electric vehicle was the responsible thing to do for our community. We thought, if driving an NEV around the South Bay is this easy and fun, why aren’t more people doing it? Then it happened…
E3 Vehicles was born as a result of three questions:
Why isn’t there a local business offering sales and service of Neighborhood Electric Vehicles in the South Bay?
Are there more NEV options to fit our budget and lifestyle?
Why aren’t more people doing this?
We opened our showroom doors in September 2016 as the first and only Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) dealership in the South Bay. Our goal is to help educate the community on the benefits of driving an NEV. E3 Vehicles wants to provide the South Bay a low cost, environmentally-conscious and fun transportation alternative to the place we call home. Responsible lifestyle choice for quintessential beach city living.
Beach Cities Solar Consulting LLC was founded on the idea that "solar sells itself".
Our mission is to educate the property owner about the benefits of solar energy empowering them to act in their own financial interest and the interest of the planet. After seeing several companies in the solar industry go out of business due to high "soft costs" like using call centers and high pressured sales techniques James saw an opportunity in the marketplace to take a different approach to marketing and selling solar systems. As an education based consulting company we market to property owners through education based seminars and work exclusively off of referrals and word of mouth introductions.

Meet Chrissy Roth
I am Chrissy Roth, a mom, wife, Physical Therapist, and Holistic Nutritionist, with Certificates in Plant Based Nutrition and Holistic Nutrition. I’m am passionate about dishing out plant-based nutrition education because I believe it saves lives, animals and the environment. I am motivated by good research and don't get too excited about something unless there is solid research backing it up. I love a challenge… I took 2 boys who thought they were cavemen (meat, meat, meat) and a husband who wanted to go veggie but hated beans, lentils, tofu, legumes, and most nuts to a plant based household 4 years ago….It's been quite a journey and I've shared a good part of it in my blog,plantbasedluv.com.
Meet Chance Batcheller
So here’s a little about me…. My name is Chance, mother, friend, and a fishmonger (yes, that’s a real thing) who works with the largest sustainable seafood distributor on the West Coast. I’ve also taught cooking classes and have catered events featuring cuisine from across the culinary spectrum. Born overseas in Cambodia, I come from a long line of cooks and spent hours of my childhood in the kitchen smelling, tasting, and learning the language of food and the care and process of creating different culinary experiences that communicated love. Today, I take the complex flavors of my upbringing and layer those onto the cuisine I create. My culinary point of view is simple: “Make good food worthy of the love I feel for the people who will eat it by making it accessible, horizon-expanding, beautiful, personal, and comforting. “
I’m excited to partner with Kim to show you how you can take ordinary ingredients already in your kitchen that may otherwise go to waste and turn them into extraordinary bites! I can’t wait to show you how simple it is to elevate everyday food into memorable experiences! Grab a seat at the table and let’s explore!
